PROJECT
In this project for Moore Concrete in County Antrim, we were asked to replace an automatic rising arm barrier at their site, as a heavy goods vehicle had accidently collided with the existing barrier.
SOLUTION
Depending on the extent of the damage it may only be necessary to replace the boom arm. However, in this situation the equipment enclosure that houses the motor and power supply was also hit by the vehicle and beyond economic repair.
We removed the old barrier and installed a new BL229 security barrier fitted with led boom lights and reused the underground detection loop
RESULT
The BL229 is a universal high performance automatic rising arm barrier. Used to secure the entrance to commercial premises, industrial sites and car park. Designed to offer long-term reliability, efficient operation and durability. With capacity to deal with high vehicle throughout, if the barrier is serviced regularly it will last well beyond other barriers in the same class.
