PROJECT
Preventing unauthorised access to your building is essential for security and health and safety. Failing to secure your business premises properly could result in theft, anti-social behaviour and accidents causing harm to your workers and the public. In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, improperly secured and zoned premises could also result in the continued spread of the virus.
In this project for Stewart Construction, the client – Old Central Bank in Dublin needed to limit and control the number of staff and visitors entering the canteen on the site.
SOLUTION
A large open plan area, Stewart Construction erected temporary walls to secure the canteen area. We were contracted to install an access control system on the entrance door to form a one way system for visitors using the canteen facilities.
Staff were issued with individual key cards to swipe and gain access through the door and exit through another door.
RESULT
An extension to the sites existing Paxton Access Control System, the client has restricted the canteen area and put measures in place to stop the transmission of COVID-19.
